Artist story claiming post.

Classic Torchwood big bang has now reached the stage where artists are needed.

To sign up for to be an artist for a story comment on this post saying with number story you want. I will reply to the comment to let you know you've got it. After that I'll PM you to tell you who the story is by, I will also PM the writer to tell them you are doing the artwork. You can then contact each other and sort out the details of the artwork.

You can produce: traditional art (drawing, painting etc), digital art, photomanips, fan mixes, cover art.

If you sign up to be the an artist for a story, but then can't do it let me know as soon as you can, and then I'll have time find another artist so the writer still gets art to go with their story.

To begin with one story claim per artist. If, after a week, some stories are still without an artist you can sign up for a second.

Rating: Not sure, see below. Besides what I'm concerned about, probably T.
Warnings/contains: Not entirely sure what to warn for. The situation is definitely an 'And I Must Scream' type- multiple people transformed into inanimate objects and conscious in those forms for decades- several actually go insane.
Summary: In the summer of 1974, Jack Harkness, Owen Harper and Toshiko Sato are captured while they investigate a string of disappearances that stretch back to the forties. In a horrifying twist of fate, they find themselves transformed into inanimate objects, and there is no help in sight. Unable to speak, move independently or even breathe, what can Jack the pocket watch do to save the world from invasion, his team from insanity, and himself from a broken heart?

Summary There are murders being committed in Torchwood's name - again. Only this time, UNIT seems to be mixed up in it as well. All leads point towards Project Horizon that was dropped years ago. But what was it about and who is the killer?
Meanwhile, Jack and Ianto go through a crisis when it turns out that Ianto is pregnant with Jack's child. Jack's not ready to commit and Ianto doesn't see any point in convincing him otherwise. His decision to leave Torchwood after the birth is only strengthened when John Hart turns up - and makes him an offer.

Summary She sought shelter from the storm, just as she always did when the air grew heavy with ozone and the wind picked up. Aithne curled lovingly against the branches of her Great Tree, knowing that it would protect her, just as it always had. So when she raised her head and was greeted with different scents and sounds, she tried her best to keep from being discovered, and was doing so well, until she was dazzled by false light and caught.

When the Hub's alarms go off, the Torchwood team are expecting an alien menace, not a displaced tree and a rather large, exotic bird. They take their quarry back to the hub, intent on discovering just when and where the tree and its inhabitant have come from. When nothing turns up and the bird spontaneously combusts, killing one of their own in the process, Jack and the team are left to deal with their grief, until from the ashes of the cell comes new life.

Warning/ Contains: fairly graphic sex scene, temporary character death.
Summary: The Electro Cinema closed in 1977 according to the guide book Jack finds when he's writing up the Night Travellers report, so how had Ianto gone there as a child?
Jack confronts him about this and Ianto informs him he started working for Torchwood in 1973 when he was 25 - when he was a test subject for some cryogenic units they were testing. He was unthawed in 1999, to find that the project had been shelved due to costs. Since then he has slowly come to realise that in the intervening nine years he hasn't aged. Now they need to find out what the project really was and what happened, and what it means for Ianto's future, and for them.

Summary Exit Wounds fix-it. While she was back in the second century, River Song noticed more felt wrong than the disappearance of stars, and once the universe had rebooted, she went back to find out what it was. She wasn't expecting to dig up what looked like an incompetent Time Agent with a fried vortex manipulator and a TARDIS key in his pocket, never mind one who needed a quick ride back to 2008. Once back, Jack recruits her to help sort the havoc his brother has wreaked, but he should have realized they were in danger of destroying the timeline. The problem is, what will he have to sacrifice to fix it?
